Building a Repeatable Weekly AI Production Workflow

Consistency beats brilliance on YouTube, and consistency comes from a system, not willpower. The goal of this lesson is a workflow you can run every week without reinventing it, where AI handles the grunt work and you make the calls that matter.

A simple weekly loop

  1. Monday: AI-assisted idea batch, pick one and validate it.
  2. Tuesday: draft script with AI, edit for hook and voice.
  3. Wednesday: film.
  4. Thursday: AI edit pass (cuts, captions, b-roll), human polish.
  5. Friday: thumbnail and title variants, schedule, then cut Shorts.
Keep your prompts as templates
Save the prompts that worked (idea generation, hook writing, clip selection) in a notes file. A reusable prompt library is the difference between a workflow and improvising from scratch every week.

The point of automating the boring parts is not to publish more for its own sake. It is to free your attention for the few things that actually move a channel: a sharper idea, a stronger hook, a better thumbnail. Spend the time you save there.
