Extending and Refining Tracks

A first generation is rarely the finished song. The real workflow is iterative: generate, keep the good part, extend it, and refine until the track holds together. Treating the first output as a starting point rather than the deliverable is the mindset shift that produces usable music.

Iterate deliberately

  • Keep a take you like and extend it rather than rerolling from zero.
  • Regenerate weak sections individually instead of the whole song.
  • Adjust the style prompt in small steps to steer the next take.
Save your favorites as you go
Because each generation is different, a great moment can be hard to reproduce. Save versions you like immediately. Your library of takes becomes the raw material you assemble the final track from.

For polished results, take the generated stems or track into an editor for final mixing and trimming. The model gets you a strong draft; a little hands-on editing turns it into something that fits your project cleanly.
